Russell Louder and Camila Salcedo collaborated to create an absurdist, performative commentary on the economic intermingling of agriculture and tourism on Prince Edward Island. Cows are a kitsch and often cliché symbol present in our culture, a signifier of the oppressive way in which cows are objectified and commodified by humans, creating a power imbalance. Jury selected project for Art in the Open, 2016 - Charlottetown, PEI.
